Happening In Charnwood

10am to 4pm. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Thurcaston & Cropston Local History Society we are taking part in the national Heritage Open Day weekend on 11th September. We shall be opening three interesting venues in our parish, namely All Saints' Church and the tiny Methodist Church in Thurcaston, and the Evangelical Free Church in Cropston. As well as a rare chance to see inside the buildings themselves, there will exhibitions in all of them about different aspects of the history of the two villages.
