An opportunity to work with other practitioners in this area of HE to share experiences, reflect on good practice and listen to Chinese perspectives. Objectives for the day: • be reminded of the challenges Chinese students may face in their transition to life in UK HE, • have an opportunity to discuss some of the cultural issues that may arise when we are working with Chinese students, • think about the barriers for Chinese students accessing ‘mental health support services’ at UK universities, • think about what we can do to support the mental wellbeing of Chinese students & have an opportunity to commit to some personal action points to help this happen.
